This fabric of the painter top is hand weaved and then block printed by hand with their signature Moon Sun print. The dyes used are all natural, the black is derived from iron, the blue is plant-based indigo and the cream stripe is created using a discharge dye. As this item is hand made every single piece is unique and different to each other.
It is recommended to hand wash cold and hand dry this garment, because of the airy nature of the silk cotton it dries fast. please be aware natural dyes can react to aluminum based deodorant and prolonged exposure to sun can lighten the indigo.
