MotivMFG is headed by Samuel Wei, the founder of Radiance Blue and a pioneer in the heritage market in China, and Daniel Gu, a third-generation tailor and designer. Together they combine old-world tailoring, using vintage manuals from Europe, with modern workwear techniques. Continuous research and iteration in refining material, fabric, design and production, informs their clothing with the goal of recreating classic pieces for today's aesthetic, as opposed to simply reproducing them.
